The Very Rev. Melinda Hall, Dean
Melinda began serving at the Cathedral in autumn of 2019. Melinda grew up outside of Louisville, KY, graduated from Georgetown College, obtained her Master of Divinity degree from Princeton Theological, and took up her first call in DuBois, PA. She was ordained a priest in 2013. After serving for several years in the DuBois congregation, Melinda was also called to serve the parish in Brookville, PA. Melinda is passionate about the contemplative tradition of the Church as well as engagement in the city.
Carly Rowe, Executive Director
Carly isn’t new to the Cathedral, she served here for more than a decade starting in 1996. For the past 10 years, Carly has been on staff at St. Mark’s Episcopal in Erie and now as part of the Erie Episcopal Collaboration will be serving both congregations as an Executive Director. Carly is passionate about helping people find their way to the Episcopal Church and utilizing their gifts for ministry.
The Rev. Sarah Brock, Vicar
Sarah Brock (pronouns: she/her) is a native of Rochester, NY. Upon the completion of her M.Div. at Bexley Hall Episcopal Seminary (now Bexley Seabury Seminary), Sarah moved to Boston to continue her formation as a monastic intern at the Society of St. John the Evangelist through the Episcopal Service Corps. Following this internship, she decided to make Boston her new home. For two years, Sarah served as a pastoral intern with common cathedral, a street church that worships outdoors every Sunday on Boston Common. She was ordained to the priesthood in the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts in 2019 at St. John’s in Beverly Farms where she served as Curate then Assistant Vicar.
Dr. Christopher Petit, Director of Music
Chris comes to us from Rochester, NY where he has been serving as the Director of the Genesee Valley Orchestra and Chorus, the Director of Choirs at the Rochester Institute of Technology, Coordinator of music at the University of Rochester Protestant Chapel, and Director of Music at the Episcopal Church of St. Luke and St. Simon of Cyrene. He also works with the Eastman Community Music School, teaching both organ and keyboard, as well as accompanying a
variety of choirs and groups throughout the recent years.
Franci Titus, Director of Communication
Franci Titus joined the staff in December of 2021. Franci is a resident of Erie and has a post-baccalaureate certificate in Graphic Design. She has an impressive portfolio of graphic design work, experience in adaptive, team-based systems, and the ability to create and improve digital media.
Franci is responsible for all digital communication and print media for The Cathedral of St. Paul and Erie Episcopal in collaboration with St. Mark’s Episcopal Church.
Chelsea Corby, Office Manager
Chelsea joined the staff in August of 2023. Originally from Erie, she brings many years of administrative experience with her to this new position. In her role, Chelsea maintains a welcoming and helpful environment in the office.
She ensures that everything runs smoothly and provides essential administrative support to the staff and volunteers. With the Erie Episcopal partnership she maintains office hours at both St. Mark’s and the Cathedral.
Terry Bishop, Sexton
Terry has been a member of the Cathedral since 2005 and served with the Cathedral Chapter as Junior Warden before coming on board as Sexton in 2016. Terry ensures the building is well-maintained and the exterior landscaping well-cared for.
