Winter Gear Collection

Erie Episcopal is keeping our school kids warm and helping new Americans prepare for their first Erie Winter. Here is how you can help. You can visit our snowman and take a “heart/snowflake” from the display in the church. Each “heart/snowflake” asks for a dollar amount to be given to the Cathedral. The School Partnership Team and the Immigrant/Refugee Team will use this money to purchase much needed coats and boots for students at our partner schools or shovels/winter blankets for our new Americans. Checks should be made payable to the Cathedral with a memo of “Winter Gear”.

Additionally, you can purchase hats, gloves and scarves and bring them in before November 13. Those items can be hung on the clothes lines in the commons. Contact Carly for more information.

The Cathedral of St. Paul, together with St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, is committed to working with local organizations to advocate for systemic change within the city of Erie. We are actively building coalitions, developing relationships with other advocacy groups, and working with local government officials.

By listening to our community partners and other organizations in the city, we seek to meet needs in Erie – whether we are partnering to hold events, assisting with fundraisers, administering aid, we strive to support the mission of the community and the kingdom of God.

We are proud to partner with SafeNet, Erie Pride, Benedictines for Peace and Our West Bayfront.
