Candlelight Compline is a 25-minute candlelit service with chanted prayers, choral music, and reflective silence. Inspired by ancient traditions, Compline invites you to slow down, listen deeply, and  connect with the Holy at day’s end. 

A NOTE ABOUT COMPLINE

The last of the four services in the Daily Office. It descends from the night prayers said before bed at the end of the monastic round of daily prayer. Compline is a simple office that may include a confession of sins, one or more psalms, a short reading from scripture, versicles and responses, the Lord’s Prayer, collects asking for God’s protection during the night to come, and the canticle Nunc dimittis.
