Presiding Bishop Michael Curry in Erie: Canceled

Presiding Bishop Michael Curry’s visit to the Diocese of Northwestern Pennsylvania on Saturday, December 9 has been canceled due to his hospitalizsation in Raleigh. Bishop Curry was hospitalized in Raleigh and has undergone surgery for a subdural hematoma. Please join us in praying for his recovery:

Heavenly Father, giver of life and health: Comfort and relieve your sick servant, Michael, and give your power of healing to those who minister to his needs, that he may be strengthened in his weakness and have confidence in your loving care; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.The Presiding Bishop will need to rest and recover, and will not be able to join us in Erie this weekend as he had hoped. The events we had planned to welcome him are canceled; please spread the word among your congregation members and colleagues who were planning to attend.
