The Stations of the Cross (also called the Way of the Cross) is a traditional liturgical devotion commemorating the last day of Jesus’ life. The devotion originated with pilgrims in Jerusalem retracing the traditional steps Jesus is believed to have followed on Good Friday.
Erie Episcopal offers to opportunities for Stations of the Cross this Lent. Join us on Fridays (March 7 – April 11) at one of the following times:
Fridays at 12:15 P.M. at the Cathedral for the tradition Stations of the Cross.
Fridays at 4:00 P.M. at St. Mark’s for Stations of the Cross using various forms of traditional and contemporary liturgies from week to week.
