Tuesday Evening Advent Study

Join Dr. Rob von Thaden on Tuesdays evenings in Advent (December 5, 12, 19) at 6:00 P.M. at St. Mark’s for a look at hospitality in scripture. Rooted in the gift of creation and, for Christians, God’s self-giving love in the incarnation, this series will examine the voices in our tradition that call us to participate in the work of God through the ideals and concrete practices of hospitality. Dr. von Thaden is a Professor of Religious Studies at Mercyhurst University who specializes in biblical and other sacred texts.
